You
can write letters and send e-mails as a way to register your protest! You can
contact companys involved in all kinds of animal abuse and explain to them why
its wrong!
If you are using snail mail, you can pop in a leaflet or two, or if you are sending emails you could provide a few links to useful websites.
The most effective form of letter writing is to find out who various campaigns are targeting because lots of other people will be sending similar letters. You can also check out our action alerts, and if you are stuck for words, we will often include sample letters that you can edit and send yourself.
It makes a huge statement if companys or MP's are receiving hundreds, or thousands or e-mails or letters all at the same time!
You can also write letters to your local newspaper about an animal cruelty issue and see if it gets published. Don't be put off if its not printed. Newspapers will often print letters which are topical so if animal rights has been reported on the news that would be a good time to send one!
